KEELE’S MISSION TRIP

Keele is sending Bill Hickox and Grant MacDonald to help encourage and train the Barefoot Doctors who minister to the mountain peoples in the Golden Triangle, as well as bringing their teaching to a mountain village in northern Thailand. Both of these projects are a joint effort of Keele and Beverley Kalnin (Frontier Labourers For Christ).

Bill and Grant leave January 16th.

Please pray that we are used by God to be an encouragement to the front-line workers and the churches in the Golden Triangle and in Thailand. We desire to be useful to Christ, to His people, and to His Kingdom.

CHRISTMAS SHOE BOXES

Operation Christmas Child
One of the best ways to show the true meaning of Christmas to your children or grandchildren is to do a shoebox with them! It is a practical, hands-on way to share with those in need.

Keele has been involved in the “Operation Christmas Child” campaign for a few years now. Unfortunately with COVID-19 and our in-person services still not happening, we haven’t been able to promote the campaign this year or distribute the boxes and labels. But, the need is still great!

With that in mind, you can purchase boxes online, or even pack your own boxes online at PackaBox.ca.

National Collection Week is November 16-22 so there isn’t much time.  Let’s make an extra special effort to contribute to this important ministry.

EVANGELINE HOUSE CHRISTMAS PARTY

Christmas GiftsEach year Keele collects and donates personal items to make up gift bags for each of the ladies residing at Evangeline House, which is our local women’s shelter. If you would like to donate to this cause, just include your donation in the “other” section of your offering envelopes.

This year we are packing the bags on December 8th after the worship service.

All ladies from Keele are invited to join the folks at Evangeline House on December 11, 7:30 pm for the Christmas Party. Please bring some goodies to share! If you are bringing goodies, please plan on being there for 7:00 pm to help assemble the goodie plates.
