It’s that time of year when we start to look at ministry needs and budgets.
Keele is sending Bill Hickox and Grant MacDonald to help encourage and train the Barefoot Doctors who minister to the mountain peoples in the Golden Triangle, as well as bringing their teaching to a mountain village in northern Thailand. Both of these projects are a joint effort of Keele and Beverley Kalnin (Frontier Labourers For Christ).
One of the highlights of our year has always been the Sunday School Christmas Concert. This year our choir will be leading us in a carol sing and bringing some special music and the children’s Sunday School will be bringing us “The Nativity Story.” After the service, we will be having our Christmas Potluck.
Each year Keele collects and donates personal items to make up gift bags for each of the ladies residing at Evangeline House, which is our local women’s shelter. If you would like to donate to this cause, just include your donation in the “other” section of your offering envelopes.
This Sunday, being Thanksgiving Sunday, gives us an opportunity to show our gratitude to God by sharing with one another and enjoying the family he has created at Keele!
At the end of September we will be having our second annual Men’s Retreat at OCA. Mark your calendars now and plan to attend! Register
